Tammy L. Sullivan

Tammy Sullivan has over 30 years of experience in legal administration.  Tammy joined the firm in 2001, as a legal assistant for the partners of the firm.   She quickly expanded her role to include serving as the administrator of the firm. In that role her additional duties consisted of daily facilities management, human resources, information technology, and all other day to day operational issues.  Tammy also assisted the CFO with the firm’s accounting.

Tammy currently serves as the firm’s Controller and is responsible for financial and administrative operations of the law firm including financial reporting, tax compliance, banking and investments oversight, risk management and partner law firm and business matters.   In addition, she works closely with the CFO to address tax planning, cash flow and other financial operations.

Tammy also works closely with the billing department in processing invoices and serves in a risk management capacity to ensure conformity with the unique specifications and client requests for each matter.  As part of this work, Tammy assists many of the firm’s nonprofit clients in the financial management of their operations to provide indigent clinical care services.  In this role she performs accounting services for these non-profit corporations, including financial reporting, cash management, risk management, and accounts payable.

Tammy has had the opportunity to work for law firms in Louisiana and Texas.  Before joining the firm, she served as a Legal Administrator for the Law Offices of Jerry W. Watson, as well as managing two non-profit organizations, NABIC and StrikeBack!, all of which provides the foundation for her current role.
