Shawn A. Snoddy
Shawn Snoddy is a law clerk with Gjerset and Lorenz, LLP. Mr. Snoddy’s practice focuses on assisting healthcare providers in transactional, reimbursement, and regulatory compliance matters. As part of this work, Mr. Snoddy has drafted physician employment agreements, indigent care agreements, management agreements, and corporate resolutions related to acquisitions of hospitals and clinics and related to hospitals’ participation in Medicaid supplemental payment programs.
While at the University of Michigan Law School, Mr. Snoddy served as a Student Attorney at the University of Michigan Innocence Clinic where he aided bar certified attorneys in representing and earning the release of wrongly convicted inmates across the state of Michigan. He also interned with the University of Michigan Veterans Legal Clinic, where he represented low-income veterans in landlord-tenant and other contractual disputes.
Before beginning his legal career, Mr. Snoddy served for nearly a decade in the United States Air Force as an Aerospace Ground Equipment Technician, and later as an Equal Employment Opportunity Specialist, providing direct assistance to installation Staff Judge Advocate attorneys in Title VII, ADEA, and ADA discrimination matters.
