Kristopher S. Walters, MBA
Kris Walters joined Gjerset & Lorenz, LLP as a reimbursement and finance analyst in 2022. Mr. Walters focuses on providing attorneys analytical support for clients participating in government reimbursement programs including the Medicaid Disproportionate Share Hospital program and the Uncompensated Care Cost program. As part of this work, Mr. Walters advises hospitals on reporting of patient metrics and provider demographic information necessary to accessing their funding entitlement in these programs. Mr. Walters also assists in the development of pro forma related to hospital mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining Gjerset & Lorenz, Mr. Walters spent over 15 years in business management and client relationship roles.
