Joseph A. Gromatzky
Joseph Gromatzky is an associate with Gjerset & Lorenz. Mr. Gromatzky’s practice focuses on advising health care providers on a number of transactional, state and federal compliance, and reimbursement matters. Mr. Gromatzky assists providers with various issues related to Medicaid payment program financing, entitlement, and opportunity in both managed care and fee-for-service settings. As such, Mr. Gromatzky advises hospitals and physicians on matters related to their participation in various supplemental payment and directed payment programs.
Prior to beginning his legal career, Mr. Gromatzky served as a legislative assistant in the Texas House of Representatives. At the University of Texas, Mr. Gromatzky worked as a research assistant under Professor Scott Wolford, where he researched peace settlements in the 19th and 20th centuries. At Vanderbilt, Mr. Gromatzky was involved in the Vanderbilt Health Law Society and La Alianza. Outside of work, Mr. Gromatzky enjoys playing basketball, hiking, and playing fetch with his cats, Lucky and Butter.
