Cassidy J. Willie

Cassidy Willie is an associate with Gjerset & Lorenz, LLP. Ms. Willie’s practice focuses on counseling healthcare providers on various transactional matters, state and federal regulatory compliance, and reimbursement matters related to providers’ participation in disproportionate share hospital program, upper payment limit demonstrations, Medicaid managed care directed payment and quality incentive programs, Section 1115 and 1915(b) waivers, and graduate medical education programs.

At Texas Christian University, Ms. Willie studied biology, studio art, and psychology, and completed a thesis that explored the effects of external rewards on extrinsic and intrinsic motivation in animals.  At Vanderbilt, Ms. Willie was involved in the Vanderbilt Health Law Society, the Intellectual Property Association, and the Energy and Environmental Law Society. In her spare time, Ms. Willie enjoys painting, gardening, and walking with her dog, Phoebe.
