Cadence S. Tomlinson

Cadence Tomlinson joined Gjerset & Lorenz, LLP as a reimbursement and finance analyst in 2022. Ms. Tomlinson assists the firm’s attorneys in delivering informative analytical support to healthcare providers with regard to their participation in various governmental reimbursement programs, including the Medicaid Disproportionate Share Hospital program, the Uncompensated Care Costs program and Medicaid Managed Care rate increase programs, as well as the coordination of provider assessments to contribute to Local Provider Participation Funds within the state of Texas. Ms. Tomlinson also supports physician groups related to their participation in physician supplemental payment programs that drive additional reimbursement for the Medicaid services they provide.

Prior to joining Gjerset & Lorenz, LLP, Cadence studied economics at the University of South Carolina Honors College, where she conducted undergraduate economic research on environmental economics and sustainability.
